'Mojo ~ a magic charm, talisman, or spell, influence, especially magic power'
Mojo” first appeared in the 1920s in the southern United States from the Gullah word “moco” (magic), Gullah being Creole spoken by some groups of African-Americans. The ultimate root of “mojo” was the word “moco'o,” which means “shaman or medicine man” in the African language Fulani.
Now the word “Mojo” has become a word for one’s inner spirit or inner power.

I am an English yoga teacher living in Taghazout Agadir, Morocco. Before moving to Morocco, I taught Body Balance and Yoga in sports centres and village halls in beautiful Somerset, UK, where I had lived most of my life.
I was looking for a change and fell in love with Morocco when I visited in December 2019. I took the momentous decision to move to Morocco in October 2019, where I have been living with my Mohamed ever since.
My training enables me to offer a variety of different classes, particularly Vinyasa Flow and Yin. I have experience teaching large and small classes and one-to-one classes. My approach is to be inclusive and offer yoga to all ages and abilities.
